Apple aired a new iPad commercial during the Oscars in the US yesterday, demonstrating film-making apps for the Apple tablet.

The ad, appropriately titled ‘Hollywood’ highlights Apple’s iMovie application and a number of third-party movie-making applications.

‘Hollywood’ joins two other Apple commercials that have debuted in February, after the company aired two interactive ads a fortnight ago.

The ads, ‘Alive’ and ‘Together’, exhibited a variety of apps available on the App Store, including GarageBand, iMovie, iBooks, FaceTime and Toca Hair Salon that enable social connectivity, education and enjoyment.

You can watch ‘Hollywood’ below.
