Adobe has announced that it will launch Creative Suite 6 (CS6) on Tuesday April 24 (AEST), as well divulging more details on its Creative Cloud software-and-services subscription programme.
Following the release of a beta version of Photoshop CS6 last month and launches of After Effects CS6 and Premiere Pro CS6 at the NAB tradeshow earlier this week, sneak peeks of gradients on strokes and pattern design tools in Illustrator CS6, Adobe will fill in the details of the rest of the suite on Tuesday – including InDesign CS6, Flash Pro CS6, Dreamweaver CS6 and Fireworks CS6.
Adobe has already released extensive details of Creative Cloud. What it hasn’t discussed is pricing beyond a standard US$50 per month fee and how it’ll implement the service for teams, though this is due later this year.
Following the launch, Macworld Australia will be publishing previews of CS6 – including step-by-step guides to the new tools. Expect to discover whether these are the must-have upgrades you’re hoping for or ones you can wait until its time to upgrade your computer for.
So tune in to the Macworld Australia website on Tuesday morning to discover what the new CS6 has in store.
