Apple opened its first South Australian retail store and 20th Australian store on Saturday in the Rundle Place Centre, Adelaide to a crowd of Apple fans.

Situated in Adelaide’s Rundle Mall shopping strip, the Apple store has been long awaited by South Australian Apple customers, as shown by the number of queued people outside the store awaiting its 10am opening.

The $2.5m store offers an island Genius Bar, workshops and one-to-one in-store service. Apple will also open the store up to school programs.

The Rundle Place retail store arrives a month after the Highpoint store opened in Melbourne’s north-west suburbs.
