If you have a lot of icons in your Mac’s menu bar and would like to rearrange their order, it’s actually really simple to do. You can move all icons except the Spotlight icon simply by holding down the c key and dragging them to the right or left. You can’t move icons from third-party utilities and applications, however. They appear in the order in which they were launched, with the icon from the most recently launched application or utility appearing on the left.
