Creating a presentation using the Keynote app on the iPad is simplicity itself, while showing off the end result is even more straightforward. Keynote lets you tap and play a presentation, or swipe your way backwards and forwards through the dynamic page content. The iPad makes an ideal office companion too, because it’s also possible to keep slide notes onboard as a handy guide. 1. Send it out
Finished documents can be sent via email, in native Keynote file format, PDF or PowerPoint variants from the ‘My Presentations’ area at the top-right of the screen. To print out a copy, click on Printer Options.
2. Share via iWork
If you’ve got iWork software, it’s possible to share your presentation on that using a valid Apple ID. Alternatively, new users can create a new Apple ID that can also be used for the iTunes Store or MobileMe too.
3. Import and export
While it’s easy to export Keynote files as PowerPoint documents, it’s also straightforward to open PowerPoint documents into Apple’s app too. These can then be opened on your iPad.
4. Options for presenting
The App Store has a range of options for presenting documents. There are also numerous pointer and presentation apps, allowing you to control your presentation via any of your handheld devices.
