Now here’s a nifty idea – a dual-band GSM mobile phone that runs on a single AA battery and can keep its charge for an amazing 15 years (if you use the included Energizer Ultimate Lithium battery). It also has an emergency torch and the ability to transmitits location, making it perfect for throwing in your backpack, boat or 4X4. It has three programmable speed-dial buttons for emergency services, family, etc. It will sell for US$49.99 in the US, with other regions being added soon.

I would like to know where I can purchase the spareone phone when it does become available in Australia, as yet there are no companies (Telstra shops, Dick Smith ) stating that they will be selling the product.
Can anyone tell me where in Brisbane I might be able to purchase the phone when it comes out in a week’s time.
