Australian design and technology company Plox has launched its own Death Star – well, a gravity-defying levitating Death Star speaker.

With cold-grey design from the dark side and powerful energy from the force, this amazing piece of technology is not bound by the laws of gravity and combines all what Star Wars fans need. First launched in Australia and New Zealand, and soon to be global, the whole technology and consumer industry is excited to welcome the Death Star levitating speaker to our galaxy.

Disney came on-board the Star Wars vessel in 2012 and made many dreams come true by returning the world popular saga. Since the new trilogy’s return in 2015, many high quality and fun Star Wars products have been revealed to the public.

Plox’s Death Star levitating speaker is a gravity-defying orb rotating above the magnetic base; it has 360-degree uncompromising sound quality. The output power features 5W with an input voltage of DC5V-1A for the speaker and DC12V-2A for the base.

In just two hours of charge time, the Death Star speakers will set you up for five hours of sound. The levitating speaker can also feel the force from your phone playing from an operating distance of up to 10 metres. It also features a Bluetooth version of 4.1 with EDR.

Finally, you can fit the Death Star levitating speakers almost everywhere whether at home or at the office, with 95mm diameter for the Death Star speakers and 143 x 143 x 30mm for the base.
