Matrox TripleHead2Go DP Gadget Guide

Sometimes two screens just don’t cut it. Matrox allows real-estate-hungry users to connect up to three screens with the TripleHead2Go DP edition via Apple’s new high-speed Thunderbolt protocol. In-built graphic expansion technology uses the existing GPU to process uncompressed graphics at up to 1920 x 1200 across all three screens.

One person was compelled to have their say. We encourage you to do the same..

  1. Pedro says:

My 27″ iMac has two Thunderbolt ports. I have two 27″ Thunderbolt screens.

I plan to hook up both to the iMac to create an array of three 27″ displays on which to create a wrap-around cockpit for X-Plane.

Mac owners should be able to do something similar for other Macs with this gadget when only one Thunderbolt port is provided.

    Great move, Matrox.
