The AVR156 is one of four new HDMI v1.4a AV receivers from Harman Kardon. This budget-level $599 5.1-channel receiver features Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding, 70W output per channel and three HDMI inputs. None of the four models features AirPlay, which is a shame, but HK sells an optional Bridge III iPod dock.
