Over the last few weeks i noticed my iPhone 5 would randomly go into silent mode all by itself, i'd check the silent switch and it would be in the correct position, and the only way to get the sound back was to reset my iPhone. I had the day off today so last night i booked in a genus bar appointment through the Apple Store App on my phone. When I told the person at the store what was happening she thought that it was an issue with the speaker and asked if i'd be happy if they replaced the speaker. I was happy for that to happen assuming that would fix the problem. After about 20 mins she come back to me and said on further inspection they had found other issues with the phone and asked if I had recent back up of my phone and if so would it be ok to replace the phone with a brand new one. I said yes to both questions. She then swapped the sim card made me confirm the erase option on the old phone handed me the new phone and all was right in the world again.

Tim Cook will speaking at this years All Things D conference, last years interview was great to watch. Steve Jobs always had great interviews there so will interesting to see what Tim Cook has to say this year.

i only want to add the mobile to the group. does anyone know how or if you can do this?

Apple have announced WWDC 2013!!! How exciting, Previews of OS X and iOS 7 and maybe iCloud updates, not to sure about hardware.

Just as the article suggest sometimes people forget about Steve Jobs equally amazing other company he was involved in - Pixar. The campus has not only named a building after him and dedicated the movie Brave to him they have now also dedicated a tree in his name too
