Thanks for the STM Bag! It turned up a few weeks ago, but I've been (too) busy with a new job.

I had been thinking that the arrival of a laptop bag would be the perfect excuse to buy a laptop, but by the time I had got home it had already been gutted and converted into a school bag. I did get left the laptop pocket though.

Right now Catch of the Day are offering MacBook Airs and Mac Minis (wasn't there an article about how they should be pluralised as MacBooks Air and Mac Mini?). I'm not sure, but they don't look like particularly good bargains to me.

Actually, I've just looked. The price for the 13" with 256gb drive is only $1399 as opposed to $1549 on Apple's website. But further than that, it's listed as the i7 processor which, from Apple, costs $1674.

The only worrying thing is that CotD are advertising an Intel HD 3000 Graphics card, Apple Intel HD 4000 Graphics card.

I have iPhoto 11 (v9.4.1) and I'm running 10.8.2. Recently I've noticed something weird.

My preferred view for my photos is by "Event."

But lately the "Events" view isn't being updated. The last event it shows is from early November, but there have been more more events added. Swapping to "Photos" view shows that there are six events after the one shown in the "Events" view.

Is this happening to anyone else? Any ideas on how to fix it?

I did update iPhoto at some point around that time, so that might have something to do with it?

A while back AMW reviewed the Wallee Headrest. I was just wondering if anybody had any experience or suggestions about mounting an iPad in the car.
