And I floated the idea of it many months ago as well - I'm not artistic enough to actually be able to mock it up though. My idea was basically this - iMac (OS X) when upright, iPad (iOS) when lying down
Common sense is like deodorant. The people who need it most never use it.

To me it makes sense. There are some applications where a touch screen iMac would be more suitable. Imagine for draftsmen, artists, etc. Even simple web browsing.
