Hi all,

I am curious what everyone does with their Macworld Magazines after they read them.
Do you throw them away?
Save them for future reference?
Tear out your favourite articles and toss the rest?

For example, I have just about every copy I've bought (from Mac User in the mid-nineties). I think I'm just about at the point of throwing the lot!

What about you?

Hmm great question, Macworld used to have folders, for keeping past copies in.

But from a personal prospective, I keep most of mine for about 12 to 18 months and thn toss them out, basically because technology moves so fast, there is not a lot you can use as reference material at more.

I keep mine for 12 months and then share then between a friend of mine for his medical practice and several high school students.

Funny to see this post. I just gave my yearly collection last Thursday to the local library. Before that I had PC mags and that also went to the library. They just love it!

I wait until they are five years old and discretely leave them in a doctor's surgery found at random.

Cheers,

I've gone digital only now because of this issue. I had a collection of Macworld mags from over 3 years ago that just sat on my bookshelf, and I recently tossed them all out.

I felt guilty doing that, even though i know they are out of date.

So now I've gone digital i don't have to feel guilty anymore, and I will always have the issues to refer back to if need be without having them take up all that space on my bookshelf.
