I was running it for a while and overall didn't really notice anything that made it more appealing than Lion. The notifications are nice, but just a pretty wrapper that really doesn't add any functionality.
I've now done a clean install of Lion to replace Mountain Lion and can't really see any reason to upgrade once it comes out.

Never Pegi never, I am heading up to Sydney to have a meal with Brian & Jamie soon, so I have to be careful I don't get beaten up, while I am there.

The biggest feature I'm looking forward to is iCloud integration. That alone will make the upgrade worthwhile for me. Most other features make sense but a fairly minor iirc.

What more iCloud integration is there going to be than there is already in Lion?
Then there is the hope that they actually make iCloud more reliable I often have issues with email and calendar syncing as it is.

iWork for a start - they're not iCloud integrated on the Mac. I know that's an app update, but Apple are touting it as a ML update. I don't know why they can't or won't just update iWork for it, but that's largely a moot point. iCloud integration of iWork apps seems to be tied to ML. More reliability is always good!
Standardising their other apps like Reminders and Notes across iOS and OSX makes sense also, given their direction. Oh, and airplay mirroring is a nice feature. Stream whatever you're watching on your computer to your TV.
