Hi all, check out this news story I put up on the site earlier today – I'm sure you have all heard of Daniel Morcombe - the Australian teen who was murdered.
His parents have been high-profile crusaders for child-safety since the event and now, today, they launch an app to help other kids in dangerous situations. The app is called HELP ME, costs 99 cents and has all sorts of features, like a panic button which sends sms alerts to nominated contacts (including the sender's exact location), plus ID note-taking in suspicious circumstances, emergency phone numbers and a lot more.
What a fantastic concept to come from such an horrific tragedy. Props to Daniel's parents for bringing awareness to child-safety and offering a tool that could very well save a life.

Well done grace, I wanted to give this app a plug earlier today, when I head the morcombes, we're promoting it.
I bought it before, not cause I need it at my age, but just for the fact, that I hope that the money, goes towards more innovation in apps that can help people in crises, whether it's a car accident, a stroke, or a heart attack etc, I just think the idea and the app deserves massive publicity, and a heap of success.
