App Updates

Ok question that has been driving me nuts for weeks.

In iTunes, (on the mac) i am constantly reminded that i have one update for one of my iPhone apps, but every time I open iTunes, and hit check for updates nothing happens.

Any body got any clues, how I either get rid the the message, or better still how to i get the update ?

It sounds like it is an app from another iTunes account. I used to have 4 updates that never appeared, like yours. It turns out it was from my wife's account. I signed in as her and voila! the updates were there to update.

I guess your only problem is finding out which account.

hmm but my wifes iPhone syncs over wifi? so should it up date automatically ?

I'm not sure, sign in on the Mac on her account and find out if the update appears.

Yes, provided that is the iTunes account associated with the device. Otherwise, you'll need to change accounts.

What is it with wives and their passwords - is it really that hard. Mine has forgotten hers as well, and even worse is that she's got it all linked to an email address from her previous employer so the 'lost password' reset method isn't as easy as we'd like! Of course it is my fault though that she can't listen to the albums linked to that account...

I agree its julia Gillards fault... if it wasn't for her, we could all marry blokes, drive V8S, scratch out butts in public, and drink beer until we can't stand up and have no body bitchin about it...

No seconds thoughts VOTE 1 Julia Gillard, i think i will stick to married life, being henpecked. driving a 4 cyl, and drinking cordial, and getting told off for not knowing the wifes email password
