So which wil be the first Mac to see a retina display ? iMac, MacBook air, or Mac book pro ? Or my guess in the Mac pro, the poor thing has had no love from apple in years, so why not reboot it with a faster processor, and a stand alone 30 inch retina display.

Makes sense, Ken. I don't see the point so much on a desktop because of the viewing distance. Also keeping in mind that 'retina' display is technically different according to viewing distance. Laptops won't need the pixel density of the iPad.

I think the whole lineup should get a retina display this year. I have a feeling if this were to happen, then the MacBook Air would be the first one to get it.
I hope there are some big advances in the iMac...because I'm getting one!

I just saw the new Ipad in town the other day. I must say that the retina display is JUST fabulous. But am not getting one right now. May when I get a new Mac and if it has it I will be giving consideration for sure. It would not a Mac Intel by any chance? Because I do not like laptop of any sorts.....
