Is anyone else experiencing problems logging into the forums using Tapatalk? I just can't seem to log in over the weekend using iPhone or iPad, even though the forums prompt me to use Tapatalk when I use those devices...

I use tapatalk all the time on the iPad and iPhone and haven't had any problems recently. In general I've found tapatalk a lot less buggy than it used to be after numerous updates.

Yea, I did have the same problem when I was in Hobart and could not use it from my Ipad at time. I thought it was maybe a connection problem but not sure. Have not used it since from my Ipad. But will give it a go and let you know.

I had that exact problem a few months ago.

I had to delete Tapatalk and then reinstall and then all was fine again.

After a bunch of crashes, I just gave up on tapatalk, if I start hearing some positive feed back on it again, I may try it again.

I haven't had a crash for a long time now Ken. There have been quite a few updates for it and I have found it very stable on the iPhone and iPad.

It works very well now. The developer keeps the updates coming.. So they care about making this app successful.

But it's a quick way to access the latest posts. I think it's pretty good.

It would be a pain having to look at the forums via the website on your mobile device.

I agree and have also deleted it from my Ipad. Do not like the interface and it is not so user friendly in my opinion...tho it is fast at times. Do not see pages where I type and if you happen to make one wrong move you are being transported to all sorts of other forums. That really annoys me.

I never have a problem logging into the forums, of course only when a site is having maintaince and so on.

Once, maybe twice a week phone and iPad still shuts down and sends me back to the home screen when using TT, which ticks me off, especially if you have been absent and need to catch up and you are only half way through reading. :(

Resolved on both devices by deleting and reinstalling. Looks like some bugs still exist...
