Just a quick tip I discovered tonight. If you want to scroll through months quickly on the calendar app on iPad you can use the default of just touching the month name at the bottom of the page or you can touch the outer edge of the calendar ( I was doing it on the right hand side) and pull down slightly. The months will start flicking over for as long as ou hold down. When you release you pop back to "today".
Not sure if his helpful to anyone but I found it kinda cool and thought I'd share it.

It's cool...but how do you get it to stop on a month that you have flipped to. It seems pointless otherwise.
You can flick your finger to the left which which does stop it, but it opens up a new event if your finger swipes over a particular date.
