Hi all,
Instagram has been a massive success on iOS and the creators have decided to release it to Android users as well.
What do we think?
Do iOS app users feel a sense of ownership to certain iOS only apps or do you think apps should be available to everyone?
Did anyone choose to purchase an Apple device purely for a certain app?

It makes sense for them to do the port, but I know that devs far prefer the iOS world so I'm happy for them to keep doing iOS apps and port them to Android when they have the time ... just not the other way around!

I feel that Instagram should stay on iOS only.....the developers are selling out going to Android....:-) Just kidding...that's the way it is...developers first test out the success of their App on the best OS...iOS and then if successful release it to the second class OS..Android....:-)
I still don't get Android....to me using an Android device is like a dogs breakfast. People say Android is open...no it's not....you're locked into buying Android Apps...so how is that open???

I don't do instagram, but any social network will be better with access to a bigger audience = cross platform.

X said what i was going to post. Instagram is my have social network, glad they are expanding, i hope they extend to the web next, i'd love to be able to view instagram on my Mac and iPad.
