As you know, in Macworld mag we feature a gadget guide in every issue. And in our quest to find standout products, we come across some real gems. Sometimes we marvel at how functional a design is. Often, it's value for money that gets top score. Other times, there are gadgets so completely random and creatively absurd that we can't help but share them with you: Now is one of these times.
Have you heard of kawamura ganjavian? Perhaps not. They are a Japanese architecture and design studio that come up with concepts so crazy they're actually kind of genius.
We featured their OSTRICH head pillow last year, for those of you who remember it.
But it's a new year and with it comes another kawamura corker. Introducing the DESKSHELL - a cubby-style desk divider for the office. It's said to combat noise, light and other distractions. Plus (and they haven't pitched it as this YET) it's a great way to check your Facebook without your boss ever knowing.I've attached an image for you to see it in its full glory.
I'm so amused by this, I needed to share it with someone. Sadly, it's not currently for sale. Otherwise I'd buy one. Make that three.
