A few days ago there was a rumour floating around that the iPad 3, could be 80 to 100 bucks dearer than the iPad 2, that seems to have been incorrect... Yippee
9-5 mac seem pretty confident the prices will be the same.
Just out of curiosity, if the iPad was $100.00 more expensive, than the iPad 2, would it put you off buying it ????

As long as the higher prices was warranted I'd still buy one. But if their was no real upgrades then I'd be hesitant. But it's rare that apple products go up in price. Over the years iMacs and MacBooks dropped quite a fair bit. So have the iPods. And in the market which is getting quite competitive I think they need to keep the pricing low.

And I think Apple have plenty of scope to absorb price rises and leap further ahead of the competition!
But I'm not in the market of a new iPad, so it makes no difference to me. Of more interest will be if they continue with the iPad 2 at a reduced price. They'll wipe the floor.
