Nice looking devise, I wonder if they could use this guy to design the apple TV ?

I like the edgless screen but wonder how you would hold it with out accidentally touching and app or something.

We'll they seem to like buying these smaller companies that have come up with tech/ ideas they haven't thought of so It seems they do look else where.

It's an exciting time. Apple has kept the lid on tight lately so any new product will be truly unveiled to us. I can't wait to see the products released this year.

I saw that concept a few days ago and thought it was brilliant. But without an edge to the device, how would you hold it and also tap on the screen.. It needs some sort of edge.

Also there photos are all over rumor sites showing that the iPad 3 will have the stupid home button... I hope these sites are wrong!

I'm pretty sure Johnny looks at all these concepts and ideas...How can he not.... But like Alex says..it's making it happen which is the key.

It would be interesting to find out if any ideas that are around on the net have influenced Apples product designs.

What's with the home button hate, Brian?

I have no problem with the home button. I like just being able to touch it to get back to the home screen and can operate the iPhone with one hand. Even with the "squeeze" gesture on the iPad I still use the home button.

Well when you have an unresponsive home button on your iPhone it gets pretty annoying. It's a bad design and needs to go.

Nokia have done it, so should Apple.

On the iPad, I barely if ever use the home button. All the multi touch gestures make it redundant.

All my home buttons work fine. So does my wife's 3G which she's had close to 4 years now and I even got out my old 3G and still works too. It's no big deal to me whether they keep it or not.

Of course all your home buttons work JZ...every Apple product just works for you...:-)

I know that the Home Button particularly on the iPhone is a bad design choice, as it does over time play up. My phone is proof.

But even if the home button stopped working altogether, I would never buy any other phone than an iPhone!

I think that's an engineering rather than a design issue. Remember that Apple reduced the number of buttons - even compared to later Android phones which had 5 navigation buttons.

Hey remember when phones had dozens of tiny buttons? One home button isn't so bad.

O.k..then they need to make it a capacitive home button.

I thought their were rumours that the 4S was meant to have that type of home button.
