I'll try and search for those threads. Good point about the iPhone tethering, makes the wifi vs. Wifi/3G a moot point - Wifi only it will be (means I might be able to get a 64GB rather than a 32GBPosted Image as apparently Dick Smith over here will be having a good interest free deal soon...)

A week to go an I'll be in Melbourne! Looking forward to my visit as it will be the first time I've been there.

I'll get some time to look around at the weekend I have there in the middle of my 2 weeks - just have to hope that I can get to an Apple Store for a visit during that time. I hear that the public transport system is pretty good there so maybe I can get a tram from near where I am staying in Park St Sth Melb. to one of the big shopping centres that has one? Any guidance from anyone would be most welcome.

Well that's a bit of a bother, guess I'll have to weigh up whether or not walking 5 km's is worth it...and in all honesty it probably isn't as it is a hell of a long walk just to look in a shop.

Oh dear... should I be worried? Nope, don't think so. Thething I love about these forums is the "family" feel to it, it make me feel welcome (and safe).

Unlike many other tech forums on the web where there is a habit of belittling and berating you if you say something slightly inaccurate or wrong, that doesn't happen here. We might give each other light hearted digs, but we don't ever get intentionally mean and nasty.
