Looks like you also had the advantage of being able to get to all of the joints effortlessly for brazing, usually I know that braze will run to the heat on the joints but to get total access to my joints I would of had to remove tiles on the other side in the bathroom( more hassle )
I recon if I got my gas axe on low heat to get around the timber studs I would of Burnt the place down
I need to invest into a suppressor for the water hammering, with the copper joints and lines copper is unforgiving when it comes to any sort of movement over time, from what I can see the lines have been moving and compromising the joints, I would of braced it but It but the flex line will take care of it, Fingers crossed.
Good job with the Avery, what are you putting in there emu's or something, it's fricken huge.

Go the Gas axe, love the thing, yeah your probably right with all those wall studs everywhere it makes it difficult, what i did was cut & braze most of (the valve bank at home) it on the pontoon at the marina, the actual install into the boat was only a few joints to get around, just had to be careful of everything (wiring, fittings, fuel tank etc) still manged to burn something, but you get that.
Aviary, mate in Queensland we have big everything, big mango, big pineapple, big taxes, and of course the big aviary! I originally built it for the birds, (peacock, pea hens, guinea fowl etc) as well as some laying chooks, now we are living in suburbia i don't think the neighbors will
appreciate the racket the chooks make let alone the bloody peacock! He was nearly shot a few times let me tell you! Had more lives than a bloody cat.

Me being in the city and all, that pic is so cool, i feel relaxed already looking at it, I got a mate who lives up at Newcastle and breeds Parrots, the guy makes $1500-$2000 a bird, Aviaries can earn good money if set up with right birds.
He made a hobby out of it and still loves it , the cash that comes in with it is an extra bonus, believe me he makes a lot of coin out of it for what it is.

Hard work with 20 - 25 knots of breeze saw a few retirements and broken spinnakers and one yacht snapped its rudder off!
These pictures are just at the marina, just too busy on board today to do anything else, i will try very hard tomorrow to post up some action shots, the starts are the most interesting with 130 competitors in 4 different divisions.

This is Bobby D (below), Farr 1020, I think I've said that before, 25 years old and still competitive.....

Why would you want to live in the Southern states when its like this???? this leg of the course was about 15 nautical miles down hill. Also if your wondering this is what it really looks like, not playing around with the images...
