This looks VERY interesting.

The device is said to be quite small with a scarce amount of ports (only the power socket and video out), and has been described to some as "an iPhone without a screen." Are you ready for the real shocker? According to our sources, the price-point for the device will be $99.

I guess if it used something like a Time Capsule, to store you data on aka movies, it would be brilliant.

For starters it is on engadget...

Secondly, if the price is low then it will be fairly well locked down so you have to get content through iTunes. Wait for the outcry about that!

Then there will be the outcry that it doesn't have USB, or a microSD slot or HDMI or BluRay or PVR...

It's only news because google have announced some vapourware and it might be based on an A4 processor. I think it will have an A4 processor and it will run touchOS and you will get content through iTunes.

If in fact it exists...

Just another step towards an appliance Mac running touch OS by the way. In fact it is Back To The Future with a pc connected to a TV like what Woz and Jobs made in the first place!
I thought I was wrong once...but I was mistaken

Hmmm interesting. I like the cloud idea but I was hoping for something that would record tv as well.
