I'm just back from the launch of Panasonic's new 3D TV range. VERY impressive, but I'm really not sure if the technology will take off in a big way.
Anyone here lining up to buy a 3D system? Or do you think it's dead before it gets going.

I don't particularly care. Television in general sucks it's just that now it does so in 3D.

hmm... i kind of think it's a bit of gimmick, i love to go see a PIXAR film in 3D and as everyone says Avatar looked amazing but at the end of the day, HD is fantastic and i just can't see my self putting on glassed over the top of my glasses every time I wanna watch a 3D movie in my house. Keep 3D at the movies, it's the only reason most people go to the theatre these days.
