Does anyone predict Ilife '10 to be released this year?
I'm thinking of upgrading from version 8 to 9, but i don't want to do that in case a new version is on the horizon.
What does everyone else think?

Being an Apple tragic, I'd do it just for the sake of doing it.
Fortunately, now that you are on the Mac platform it will only cost you about $79 for each upgrade unlike some software updates on other platforms.
Actually, there's not really an equivalent to iLife over there...
You'll notice performance improvements, Faces is great for organising your images. We've done more with our images now that we can easily whip together projects for family members.
Some didn't like the change to the new iMovie, but once I came to grips with it I prefer it by far.
I'm anticipating new editing features in iPhoto '10 akin to Aperture 3, iTunes Extras content creation in a revamped/renamed iDVD (increasingly misnomered) that can be used on AppleTV and iPad, more podcasting features in GB, new themes for all apps and lowered prices for books and calendar printing.
iWeb will have template options for iPhone/pad viewing and widgets for their adMob service as well as google ads.
Side tracked a bit there, but you'll have fun with iLife '09 and get to re-live the excitement again soon after when iLife '10 is released in the near future!

Well I wont help the situation to much, I got sick of waiting myself yesterday, and when I was at dick smith they had ilife 09 for $119.00, 10 bucks off big deal, but I was buying some laser cartridges so i thought why the hell not.
As pete says, apart from Faces there is not a massive difference, and I like yourself upgraded from 08 to 09, and unless there is something totally ground breaking in 10 when it comes out, i will just hang on to this version for a while.

Sorry, had the price completely wrong!
$129 as TL said.
I get Family Packs anyway. More than enough hungry Macs in this household and I feel morally obligated to do the right thing
