Apple’s WWDC event sold out.
Apple's WWDC seems set to be the busiest yet.
Anticipation for WWDC this year is at its highest, with Apple also expected to introduce its next-generation iPhone at or around the show.
"Response to this year's WWDC has been off the charts and we are delighted with the show of enthusiasm and support from the developer community for the new iPhone SDK," Apple spokesman Bill Evans, told UKMacworld.

Hey macchef, I musta missed something. Can you elaborate on the above please. If I read you right there are improvements to the so-called parental controls?? That would be good because with User Accounts on our MacBook besides the Admin account that will definitely help me. I like to keep vital system stuff out of harms way without being too restrictive and I've found that hard to do easily with Leopard.

Ahh, thanks macchef, my brain must have been a bit addled last night. I haven't used the time restrictions part of the parental controls, 'cos it's my newbie wife I'm "restricting." Just want to keep her away from vital system stuff because, as she's a newbie, stuff can be deleted accidentally. So I've basically just given her access to the applications she needs, nothing else, and she has free access to the internet.

PS. Mick could be right about the 10.5.3 having a fix. The list of bug fixes is sooooooo looooonnnng I can't really be bothered checking it out, though!!

I wonder whether 10.5.3 might get a mention at WWDC - wouldn't surprise me if it does.

Aaron.
Absolutely.
I would say that 10.5.3 will be completely linked to iPhone Ver 2 software.
Do you currently have to be running 10.5 to use the iPhone?
If not, iPhone 2 would be a great way to sell a whole lot more copies of Leopard.
Which leads to more use of Time Machine -> Time Capsule
iLife -> DotMac
I'd be buying shares in AAPL now!

I'd love another .Mac bump, I must say. Another new feature would make it even more useful.

Here you are macchef, I went back through the Forums until I found my previous link to the list of 10.5.3 bug fixes. If you go to this MacRumours site and scroll down to Post 21 you can check out the list, good luck!! BTW if you can be bothered, let us know if the parental controls get a mention.

If you'd like a laugh today have a look at the following site for some rather interesting speculation about three products Steve will announce on June 9th - a Photo Frame, a Talking Alarm Clock (the voice of Jobs of course!) and a "do all" Remote Control.
Head over here for a giggle.
