Happy New Year to all!
I use ChronoSync to keep personal info & docs synced between a SL Mac & a Leopard Mac. Works beautifully.
However since SN introduced a slightly newer version of Mail, I now don't know how to keep Mail synced between the 2 machines -- apart from sending email one to another of course.
The problem became acute since I changed the structure of Mail on the SN Mac: changed Mailboxes around -- added & deleted some (boxes & messages), changed rules for various boxes, etc.
I know I can go through & do it manually, but it's a real pain. Is there an easier way? -- For example, import just a part of the Mail structure from ~/Library/Mail on SL Mac to Leopard Mac without causing a major rupture between the 2 versions of Mail?
Thanks for any help.

So grateful Tl deleted this reply which I read last night (& decided to re-vivit this morning; couldn't quite see the relevance). Confusing & somewhat dangerous to implement re my problem I thought.
HOWEVER -- I am still interested in any advice I can get in the matter, please.
Cheers

Does your mail server support IMAP? This might be an easy, if not entirely foolproof, way to keep your mail clients in sync.

Thanks, yes, you've jogged my memory; I do have a gmail account, so that part of mail is easier to sync.
It's just the Apple Mail POP accounts that are the problem. Unfortunately it may have to be a manual fix -- unless something else pops up (excuse the pun).
