Can anyone recommend a car mount kit for the iphone? I've bought the Sygic GPS app and want to be able to mount it on the windscreen or vents.

I've seen a couple. One was a complete kit from JB Hifi for $29.00. My biggest gripe with it, was the phone doesn't fit the mounting bracket when you have it in the silicone skin the kit comes with.

Apart from that they look pretty standard. I saw some in the US, but the JB one offers the best value from what I've seen.

Mine is so fantastic I can't even remember it's brand!

I have one in each car. The "claws" expand right out so it would easily take a case as well.

Just checked, it's the Kensington

and the Belkin car charger means I never run out of juice.

Looking around for a double DIN car stereo with bluetooth audio (if indeed that works with a 3Gs) or line input so I don't have to use headphones to listen to my podcasts on the way to work

How much do you want to spend? If it's around $1000, have a look at the Pioneer AVIC-F310BT. It's a double-DIN satnav with iPhone/iPod hard-wiring, Bluetooth, CD player (no DVD), SD card slot ... oh, and a radio! The 4.3" touchscreen has full iPhone and iPod functionality. I've just reviewed it for the October edition, and have given it 4 mice (it lost one mouse, as Pioneer's great AVIC Feeds application isn't Mac-compatible, it doesn't do traffic updates and there's no DVD player). RRP is $1199, but you'll see it for about $999 in the shops. If I had a double-DIN space I'd get one myself.

A nice looking piece of kit David.

Pity about no DVD. That would be ahead of SatNav on my list...

Is there a premium option with that I wonder...?

Hello There!
This is Argell!
Im new in this site!
The best thing to do would be to read the directions.
Some kits will have you take brackets off the old factory radio.
Some are used for multiple cars and you have to attach the right brackets, or break off other ones.
I'm not familiar with that vehicle.
Or the brand of the car kit.
So your best bet would be to read the instructions.
Just keep on posting Guys!
Good Luck!...

The Magellan one looks like the pick of the bunch to me - iPhone in its cover fits
