Watch the video, it's hilarious. They even squeezed in a parody of the 1984 ad.

Interesting, although there really is no reason why Steve should repay Lisa, considering she agreed to the Terms and Conditions, and it's the record companies, not Apple biggrin.gif

Good to see the iMac G4s making a comeback, and I'd love a MyCube smile.gif

I liked the myphonies, fake earbuds that still costs $40, just so people think you have a real myPod.

Welcome to the AMW forum atasha, hopefully this is the first of many posts from you!! Re the iPhonies, I guess it takes all kinds to make the world go round - if someone feels the need to look "cool" with some iPod ear buds (minus the iPod) well I guess we can humour them. False economy to my mind, by the time you fork out $40 for the buds you're well on the way to the cheapest iPod complete with earbuds!!!

Don't feel as though you you might have missed something momentous Genshin, I have never watched the Simpsons but have regularly seen promos of the shows. It just does not appeal to me. This is where I duck to avoid the missiles being thrown by all the Simpsons' fans - it does have a broad supporter base amongst many adults as it aimed, I believe, at adults rather than children, although most children seem to like it too.

I don't know it well enough to quote specific episodes Gazza, but there are some episodes from about 5 years ago or so that really are quite clever and worth a look.
I particularly like the Citizen Kane spoof with Mr Burns and Bobo. Very cleverly done

Kids should not be watching it at all!

It's been on channel 10 6:00 weeknights for as long as I can remember, except now they've moved the Bold and The Beautiful into the 6:00 timeslot.

The Simpsons is full of Citizen Kane references. When we watched Citizen Kane for Media Studies in year 10, my teacher would show us a related episode of the Simpsons. There's a lot of references to Kubrik's work and Hitchcock as well.

The newer episodes aren't anywhere near as good as the old ones, it's become a bit repetitive and old. Now days I only ever watch when one of my favorite episodes is on.

The Grand Theft Auto series also parody Apple. The Apple IIe is Called The Fruit LC. smile.gif.

But in GTA, the Fruit symbol represents something rude. That is typical of any GTA game.

In an older episode of the Simpsons, Homer buys an expensive Computer that makes the Mac Startup chime and appears to run a Classic version of Mac OS.

I will fess up as well Gazza, and admit to watching maybe 15 minutes of the Simpsons over how many years has it been going for ?

Not really my cup of tea either, I think its aimed at a younger generation, than one Gazza and myself comes from.

Ahh, GOTCHA, TL!!!!!! Aren't you the bloke who regularly casts aspersions at my senior status, my advancing years, me being "too old to know what I am talking about?" Yes, correct, it is you! So now we find that you admit that we are in the quote, "same generation," unquote!!!!! Hmmmm............. now I have ammunition!!!!! emot-dance.gif
