I burnt a playlist to CD for home use using iTunes (mostly for my almost 4 year old to dance to), and it won't play on our main CD player (don't have exact model number, but it is a Grundig one). It plays fine on an older CD player (which sits in the study, and dates back to the early 1990s).

Can anyone tell me why it won't play on the Grundig, and what i might be able to do about. I just doesn't work.

thanks in advance

Here are a couple of links ( 1 and 2.) to others who have had a similar problem - Burn Speed gets a mention a few times, Bungs, which can affect some CD players ability to replay. Hope this helps.

The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know what you are doing, someone else does!

Yep, I think I'll try to burn at a slower, possibly even X1 speed. May be that will work.
thanks Gazza

I don't want to state the obvious, but did you check that it's not burning to MP3 format? (Preferences>Burning)

Cheers,

P
