MacWorld Australia is no more

Quite sad that they couldn't even post on their own website to advise of this!

Yeah, I read the email but it wasn’t immediately clear to me whether Anthony was resigning or the magazine was folding.
You might not know it to look at me, but I'm pretty radical.

Yep, I saw the mail link and saw it disappear out the back door.....how sad....so the forum as such will die an even slower death?
"Reality distortion field" mine is still distorted....

Its been dying a death for years, I personally think that the last one out the door will turn off the lights and the MacWorld and MacTalk websites, there's always AppleTalk I suppose (unless you ever say anything slightly anti Apple)

I've emailed Anthony to to thank him for the mag over the years but suspect that he may already not be getting those emails but at least I tried I guess.

Wow it took a while, but the writing was on the wall after Dave Bullard left, Anthony removed mine and most of the others admin privileges the day he become the new head cheese, and had zero interest in posting on the forums.

Am I sorry to see the sight go ? yes and no, it was fun for a while, will I miss all the old faces, hell yeah ...

At least I can say I went out of top as the the number one poster, and the no 1 biggest stirrer on here :P

Maybe one day there will be another forum we will all pop up on again, and continue the legacy we are leaving behind.

Until then, lets wait and see who turns the lights out, or if the web site just limps along and collects a few Pennys from the last of the advertisers, until the domain name or servers die.

Good night all

be good or be careful, you don't know what life has in store for you just around the corner.. I know I do :hi:
