I want to set up a remote connection.
Will be travelling extensively next year and want access to old iMac at home from either iPad or Macbook Air travelling with me.
What is best way to set this up and details of how needed.

Guide is for Windows but the basic process is the same

https://www.wintips....rol-teamviewer/

Note that I would recommend that a TeamViewer account is set up at step 5 as this better supports unattended access.

No, it can be set up to always allow connectivity via a password and free teamviewer account
