A few of my thoughts from WWDC 2016;

macOS Sierra - love that it's been renamed to macOS and some of the new and improved functionality looks great, Siri might be something I'd use but really only for quick things like playing some music - although the file searching algorithms giving such great control look fantastic

tvOS - no real thoughts here as I have not used it at all but it's certainly developing in to something that might be worth checking out.

watchOS - fantastic update, finally improvements to both speed and usability, the watch new almost makes sense to me as an item I'd like (if I had the money!)

iOS 10 - WOW! Some fantastic stuff here, highlights for me are the major improvements in Photos (people, places and events look great - especially with the mini movie production option), and the fun additions to Messages/iMessage look great and bit of fund can add so much to a message

Swift Playgrounds - without a shadow of a doubt this is the absolute standout item to me, whatever we can do to get people to get experience with programming and learning about logic and algorithms is fantastic - the only downside for me is that our only iPad is an iPad 2 which it won't work on - is that a good excuse to update?

Homepod looks interesting, but how do I connect up my 55" Television, Foxtel, Bluray player without a digital audio connection? I only have wifi on my computers going one way?

HomePod will only support Apple Airplay streaming so will be limited to audio that is playing directly from Apple devices, it may even only be AirPlay 2 which will limit it even further to only newer Apple devices.

It is not designed to work with anything else
