Hi All,

So Ashton Kutcher has apparently been selected to star in an upcoming Steve Jobs biographical film. We has a little think about who should play who.


Any ideas? Who else should feature in the film?

It's sounds like a pretty low budget movie on Jobs, I think Walter's book version, which Sony currently owns the film rights to, will be 10 times better, and will hopefully feature somebody like george clooney as Steve !

Yeah, I agree. Ashton Kutcher may just be a promotional choice.

Do you think the Sony version will represent Apple and Jobs in a similar manner to the indie film or even to Walter Isaacson's biography?

Will they take a more critical view?

I'd actually like to see the big bucks version accurately reflect the corporate world in which Jobs operated. Tarantino should direct it, with Jack Nicholson as Jobs -

Thank heavens this wasn't the choice for the main film that will be made.

the "real" movie should be noah wile. steve approved of him when he portrayed him in pirates of silicon valley.

I don't know why Ken is fixated on George Clooney. He's too hollywoodish for the role.

I still say he is the wrong guy, I mean look at the ratings of two and a half men, since he took over, I rest my case.

Ashton was on a hiding to nothing taking over Two and a Half Men. If the show lasts three years with him in it, it will have been a success.
