Self explanatory Apple geek's, here is mine, 2006, MA477X, 2 GB, still works....looks like it's been dropped, trodden on, generally misused by my daughter Alexandra "the destroyer" (black dress)

Post up your picture of your oldest functional device, might make an interesting read for us Apple lovers.....

I did have a 1st Gen Nano, but I sent it back to Apple to get a replacement.

But mine looked practically brand new.

We have a tangerine iBook that I still use. We have only had it it for three or four years, but I think it was made in 1999. I had Tiger running on it, but that was a bit quirky and only needed for Dropbox. So I put it back to 10.3.9 where it is more comfortable and just access Dropbox through the browser.
You might not know it to look at me, but I'm pretty radical.

I purchased this iPod Mini First Generation for Jane for her birthday in late 2004 hence the pink colour, she took to it for a couple weeks and didn't use it very much so i grabbed it and used it when doing stuff around the house or walking and so on, it kept my own iPod classic from being bashed around at the time, this thing is still in mint condition as well and i still get about five or so hours out of it, not bad at all i think.

I have an Apple 2c that was working when I put it back in its original box quite some years ago! I bought it new in 1986 I think... May have been 1987? My wife has asked me to ditch it a few times over the years but ...

It's well packed and "out of sight", not hidden from ....but forgotten I would think. On the odd occasion that the topic comes up I just say that it will be worth something to a collector one day!
