Mine is fine also after downloading the update from Mac and had a double check with Ken little link. No problems were found and all is fine.

Ran a check and both my systems were fine.

I would think that the websites used to infect were not the everyday websites we wholesome forumers would be visiting anyway
only a guess though

My guess would be the people that got infected, are like headman said, looking for free stoneware or searching torrents.
