Ok, with only 8 hours or so to go, the info on what's being released is now starting to come in at a rapid place.

If you want to know about the specs on the new laptops, and desktops press Here . If not ignore the temptation to press the link

Meh, processor speeds and memory. Anyone could have guessed that.

I'll just wait and see what they actual announce. For all we know we may only see software previews.

Hardware updates are overdue, they need a total refresh, and what a better place to do it.

I saw her gargling before JZ, so my guess she is warming up.

O and on that subject, who will do most of the presentation ? Tim or somebody else ????

I think Tim, will open it for 5 minutes, and then pass it to Phil, Scott and then come back on for 5 minutes at the end to close it.

I wonder who will do iCloud since Steve Jobs did it last time.

Scott iOS
Phil OS X
Can't remember the other guys of the top of my head but I guess they will do iLife and iWork if we see those apps at all.

I think so TL. Tim will be very excited about their lineup this year and even more very excited about their exceptional sales figures and even even more very very excited about their profits and that in the last quarter they pwned Android in some metric or another. Or maybe that was Steve, I'm not sure Tim is into bagging out the opposition so much???

I don't think so - I think iWork is, though. They have to at least add iCloud integration since they're shutting down iWork.com at the end of this month or next. I'm using a couple of other apps that have adopted it and it's sweet. Even though they also integrate Dropbox very well I prefer iCloud for documents I'm working on as you don't have to root around a file menu to find things.

i think iLife 11 has Ben around for a year or just over. But iWork is definitely well overdue.

iCloud could be the big thing tomorrow. Tying both oses together and maybe some added new features.

Tying the 2 IOSs together would indeed be impressive, but I believe premature. There is a lot of legacy stuff to clean up. Perhaps they will outline a roadmap for the integration.

Tying as in file sharing is what iCloud is about though. Not having one app running on Mac and idevice. I don't think that will happen.

I already have one or two that do that - and without the APIs. Will be interesting to see what happens next. The next update we need to see collaboration with docs, that would be cool (though limited as it would only be between Macs/iPads).

I just hope it doesn't get too close, I dread the day, I delete an email on my iOS devise to free up space, only to find that it's also been deleted from my Mac, where I like to keep old back up copies of emails.
