Now, back to the new Apple TV... Here's my review. It was tricky to do without proper internet, but it's a great little machine.

Just read the review of the new Apple TV box, I like the sound of it. Mainly due to the reduced size and increased speed (and also the fact that it will run a lot cooler).
Hopefully we will pick one up in a month or so

Post should read:
I have my iTunes library on a 2TB Western Digital external drive and I still have just over a terabyte free on it
It's amazing how disk space in increasing, I remember when a 40MB drive was a big drive to have! Mind you that was in a Mac SE in about 1988 (or so)

I have done the same however I have only 900 GB left and I hate the fact it all lives on one drive,( all that work I have put into Itunes For Apple TV) ,It would do my head in if the external drive was compromised.
I gotta start looking at a RAID ,NAS set up or I might just get another 2TB and daisy chain it, either way I gotta get more storage for the backup side of things.
Cheers Jim

I threw my Onkyo deck into the tip yesterday, moved my old plasma into the second lounge area.
I went with the Pioneer airplay receiver VSX-921, another purchase from this site's advertising again....it was like advertised at just over $1000 got it for just over $700 went with the Sony bravia 55" led/lcd smart $1800 to just over $1200.
My mistakes was not having the HDMI connections with my old gear, I mean, it just wasn't available like 9 years ago, I cringe every time i think of when plasmas came out, i was stupid enough to pay $8000 for a Fujitsu 50" at the time, for what you get now for under two grand it does everything but cook your dinner, anyway i am stoked with it to be honest, slapped a dongle in the back of the panel and all hooked up to the net, I just need to get the receiver onto the network and all will be sweet with airplay and so on.....I got manuals coming out of my
