Which one did you get? Have you plugged anything into the Thunderbolt port yet?
You might not know it to look at me, but I'm pretty radical.

dear brian,i sense that you are quite the gentleman, and its good to have your humour and input in this forum, but, steve jobs told me to tell you that you only get a free mbpro if i win tattslotto, funnily enough,i bought a tatts ticket last nightp[5,000,000mil game],havent checked it yet, about to now, could be our lucky day,i dont care about money,it has no hold on me,its just handy, its weird, but the less you worry or care about it,the more you attract, lol.cross your fingers,i promised myself if i ever won big,id make some random shouts out into the world, why not, lifes too short,my way of keeping the luck rolling in life,is to pass it on!!! sounds weird, but works well for me.folks just dont get it usually, really,we are all in this mess together. we jus dont realise this,
until circumstances provide a catalyst like tragedy, but its the year 2011,humanity should not need catalysts to get it,
i woke up and i was breathing, another good day!!!

I like your philosophy Media -Sorcerer...:-) I wish I could think the same as you... I have a perfectly good working little original White MacBook that is in fine working order and meets my needs, but i just want a new MacBook Pro..... I have dilemmas in my mind....maybe you can set my mind free.... :D

Also I have 2 little kids and i can't just spend, spend, spend... I think I'm too practical.... or I'm just not earning enough...he,he

I've got the lower-spec'd MBP 13" and it's a dream (previous Mac was the first Intel MacBook - that was awesome too).

I've plugged nuttin' in to the Thunderbolt port... Yet. I wonder why they call it Thunderbolt instead of Light Peak? Light Peak is such a cool name (NOT).

i wish,if id have won the lottery, brian would be here posting pics of his new mac,yes there are quite a few nice houses and well to do folks down this way, especially portsea, big money there, big money, but so what i guess,i like the real world,i was once told many people commit suicide after winning lottery, everyone wants a piece of them including family, they dont work anymore thus become disillusioned etc,on the flip side,===tahiti roger, stirred not shaken[no ice],and mind the duco on the lambo, haha.

Thanks David. I'm envious. Post up pics and your setup...:)

I just had to justify to my wife why we need to upgrade our 120GB hard drive to a 500 GB hard drive in our little white MacBook....2007 model.

That's the extent I get to upgrade.... (Boo Hoo... Poor Me)

Pretty cheap too... A 500GB Hitachi 5400RPM for around $80... Things have come down heaps in price. I wanted the 7200, but thought I have a 5400 and it works fine.

I'm going to get it from OWC and install it myself... Pretty excited about DIY.
