I work 2 mins from the Apple Store, you can actually see my building in the background of that video, and I never heard anything about this.

Also this didn't happen this morning, it looks like it happened last week or a few weeks ago as the weather is beautiful here today. It's not raining at all.

It's part of a new world wide marketing campaign by Samsung, leading up to the launch in the uk of the new gallaxy in 2 weeks.

Apparently they doing the same stunt, out side a heap of apple stores, world wide over the next 2 weeks, and this was the first one on the list. So I am sure you will plenty of other posts on this subject, as they hit other stores.

I think we are rapidly approaching the point where just about everybody has sat down in the mobile market game of musical chairs.

Occasionally I toy with the idea of getting an Android or Windows phone as a second phone, but then remember that none of my apps will work. However, I'd get a Windows phone if I could sync my music with it.

What a classic dumb @ss thing to do, even if you take out the bias i have for Apple.

Can you imagine sitting around the corporate table at Samsung...... Kudos to us fellas.......hi five...... we managed to spend some more money in our marketing department to achieve absolutely nothing, better still we left our name off everything and didn't mention any of our products so nobody can sue us....brilliant....yearly bonuses all round fellas we found a winner.

Well samsung are now saying :it wasn't us"... but not everybody is convinced, if you go to http://wake-up-australia.com.au/ you get this weird looking count down clock, which sort of coincides with roughly the release date of the Samsung Gallaxy 111 phone. Plus the other factor here is, for a few days now apple has had an ad running with sheep in it, with the headline don't be part of the flock, in other words don't follow everybody else and buy an iPhone.

O well i guess all will be revealed in about a week.

I meant for a second phone. Her-indoors isn't particularly enamoured of apps and such and would probably be happy enough without an iPhone. But the phone would need to have the music.

Know body wants a Gs anymore, I don't even think pegi is that desperate for a phone, lets be fair brian its almost 3 generations behind.

3GS is good for the budget conscious. My wife has one and really I don't think she needs even a 4 for what she wants. But I'm finding mine is becoming frustratingly sluggish even after a reinstall.

Why did they do it, who the hell knows, they don't have any money, so why blow cash on a bunch of brogans in a bus, again who the hell knows, but if you follow the ticking clock, or is that a time bomb, on that link i posted earlier, all will be revealed in about 2 weeks.
