A bit bizarre that it comes from Nissan but very cool.

Read this a few days ago, was telling my wife her car would look perfect again if we had a Nissan ;)

Not bizarre at all if you think about it. Japanese innovation and every car is covered in paint that often gets chipped or scratched. Not a great leap of imagination to use your amazing product in every industry you can. I'm looking forward to self repairing tv's, consoles, mountain bikes and definitely kitchen cupboard doors :)

How much does it cost?

I read about this in the Herald Sun the other week and was ridiculously impressed. Wonder if Nissan could design similar patent technology for the skin? Can you imagine???

It's a brilliant idea! I love it when companies think outside the square to use their existing tech in new ways.

Like Lamborghini tractors!
