A first for me today. I went to a training seminar for some software that's Mac-only (although they do have an emulator for PC). Being in a room full of Mac users was a different and pleasant experience. (Accordance Bible software for anyone who's interested).

Alex,

Just out of curiosity , how does the Accordance Bible software compare to say Logos software for Mac ? Im looking at buying something along these lines and so far I have not found anything to compare to Logos (I dont think Quick verse has a Mac version - could be wrong) - anyway - just interested in your opinion of the software itself.

Thanks

Marty

Marty, I haven't used Logos but one of the seminar attendees has it loaded and is trying to get his money back. In his words it's a dog compared to Accordance. Logos has lots of resources, but apparently Accordance is much, much faster and better UI, and it's resources are very good. Have you looked at the Logos forums? Apparently a lot of disgruntled users. You can download a trial version of Accordance, I'd try it out. I believe Quickverse has or had a Mac version, but don't know for sure. The presenters didn't have much time for Logos either (they only said that because I directly raised it, they don't normally mention it - I know they're circumspect about criticizing other brands on their forums also) which isn't just bias because they were quite friendly towards other PC Bible software.
