Well from the calls that came in I would say 99.99% of people DONT !
After the presenter went on to discuss how much vital data people keep on there phones, including apps like internet banking, and bill paying apps, plus email details, photos of family members, etc etc etc.
I think the number went more like 99.9% put a password on there phone, and a 1 or 2 still thought their phone would never be lost or stolen.
So my question IS, do you YOU have a password on your phone? to be honest i didn't until this morning, but i do NOW

Paranoid, not really, but if I loose one one of my devices they don't have a chance in hell to get my data.
I have set it up after a certain amount of failed attempts it will wipe the device clean.

I know it's risky, but I find it painful having to unlock it every time I want to use it.
Edit: I just had a look in settings and you can specify when you want your iPhone to prompt you for a password. Eg. Immediately, in 1 minute etc..
I tested the 1 minute setting and after that minute it never prompted me, am I missing something here??

I don't, because I hate having to unlock all the time. But I feel guilty about it!

All my phone accounts are unlimited or pre-paid so my call losses are minimal.
I don't bank or have any secure data on the phone, except for personal contacts which could pretty much be found in a phone book.
My iPhone is a...... telephone (remember them?)
OK, it's also a language dictionary and a mapping system and a few other things, but for banking and stuff that involves storing passwords etc, it's the laptop.
I'm a dinosaur!
