As I have reported back before there are on some flights WiFi. So whilst I was sending email and doing some work stuff, I thought I would have a look and see what time it was at home. As it turned out it was early at home and there was a good chance I could Face Time, to my good wife whilst in at 35,000 ft.
So, a couple of clicks later there Lisa, Face Time working and she (Lisa) was 8000 miles away (in Australia) as well.....so if you have the chance to try it, it does work and we had a good 15 minutes conversation as I crossed over the Grand Canyon. How's that for technology, mighty impressive to say the least, I also had to tell Lisa to cover up as she was still in bed and there were a couple of hundred people behind me, no doubt interested in the view.......

That's pretty cool. Now if only Australian airlines could have the same thing and for that matter have free WIFI at the airport... We are so backwards in that respect.
