Wow Appleinsider have managed to get some pics of the banners for WWDC 2011, fingers crossed we may see Lion, iCloud and iOS5 all available the same day... Its getting exciting :D

Gees I hope wireless syncing with iOS devices makes an appearance in iOS 5... It's annoying plugging in that cable.

We have 3 sleeps left..... Come Tuesday Morning everything will be revealed.

Unless of course you only want 2.5 sleeps then you can get up early Tuesday morning to watch one of the many live blogs.

i have slightly higher hopes then usual this time. WWDC is going back to it's roots - software, the heart of all Apple goodness and my favourite thin to look forward to, although the hardware is shiney and cool to look at it's the software that makes it all work.Posted Image

I have to admit I'm just a little bit excited this time, mostly about iCloud (I hope it integrates Mobile Me and iWork and comes in at the kind of price the rumour mills have been hinting at - Apple will own the web). But with iOS 5 and Lion being presented as well this will be the most significant keynote since the iPad 1 launched. I'm on holidays so I might even be tempted to get up - is it being tweeted or streamed?

I doubt it's being streamed live, I wish it was though. I still don't understand why it's not..... Maybe they are afraid their severs will crash from the demand, but now with that data centre you would think it's a possibility.

There will definitely be live blogs Alex... Macworld AUS, Macworld USA, Mac Rumours, Appleinsider etc... Will all have live blogs.

I got up last year to watch and read a live blog when the iPhone 4 was announced and it's just not the same as watching it live. If I was you, I would just wait till the Keynote is up on Apples website, and watch it there.

Only Mick knows this, but I have been out of work for 2 months, and I just got a new job on Friday and my start date is Tuesday.... Bugger, now I'm going to have to get up really early to read and see what was announced..:)

Yeah, must admit I'm pretty excited! Leaving at 9am tomorrow, and arriving in LA two hours later. Business class upstairs on an A380 (thanks, Apple, and sorry to rub it in even more, lads!).

So far I haven't been able to organise Wi-Fi access at Moscone for keynote live blogging/tweeting from the keynote, but hope to have that sorted out after landing in San Francisco. Tim will be up at 3am in Melbourne on Tuesday to put a live feed together from the US Macworld guys and me (on ya, Tim!) for those readers excited enough to be up then. And I'll follow that up with a blog or two.

And yeah, I'll take heaps of pics, jz!

I'm just in SF for 48 hours, so I'll be missing the Apple Design Awards and a Macworld US party, which is a real pity, but hey, I'll take what I get!

Brian, congrats on the job! I'm actually on long service after leaving my last job so will be looking in a few weeks myself.

Dave, lucky duck! I hate air travel, although I'm sure biz class takes a lot of the pain away!
