So who's going to sign up for this music streaming service??
It's a great idea... I just wish Apple had done it first.

You can get a free trial to it, which I might do so I can check out all different types of music and then see what I like and buy the albums from the iTunes store....

Spotify sounds good and will get my "other half" onto it. He loves his Jazz and contemporary music... it might interest him. Mind you he has a vast Jazz collection already!
Curiosity has immense benefits for all!

16 Million songs online, very impressive
EDIT Scratch that, all my previous posts on this subject are null and void. To use Spotify you need a Facebook account... EPIC FAIL!!

I can see why people hate Facebook... It really is an invasion of privacy. But for a company it's a great way to get their product name out there and target potential customers, so it's very beneficial for them.
I don't care having to register with Facebook for these things. It doesn't seem to bother me.
How about trying Sonys Music Unlimited headman, that just launched today as well and works exactly like Spotify. I believe it's cheaper too. I've downloaded both Apps and am yet to try them out.
Looks like you don't need a Facebook account for the Sony option.

I've got enough music of my own but after seeing my friends use it I was really looking forward to Spotify, never mind, I'm sure I'll live

Get over the Facebook thing and test it out..... Unlimited music just a few taps away. You get a 48 hour free trial.
This could kill the iTunes Store.
But if you like owning your own music then iTunes is still for you.

I'm telling you, this is quite ingenious.
Apple missed the ball here.
Let's see if they play catch up.
In the meantime I have a 30 day trial to enjoy any music I like.
