Hello there,

recently my computer has been stopping .Freezes out of the blue. All of a sudden I get a blank screen or a black screen or just vertical semi purple lines. Is my computer going down the tube ?

Can anyone shed a light on this problem that would be great?

Thanks in advance

Pegi

Hi there Klytia
i had this funny feeling too. It did not like me getting rid of the Iphone4. But now it is RIP> and I am not worried any more. Revenge is that it! :yahoo:

I am just browsing "The Age" newspaper, or on this forum for instance. Nothing special or grandiose.

I very rarely run too many programmes at the same time. I hate it. But usually have Skype on, Mail, Sophos, Calendar, Itunes if I feel like it. Firefox is the main browser and I use from time to time Chrome.

I am just looking at a page or want to go to the next page or the one before and BINGO ...frozen!

Running Mac OS 10.6.7. 4 GB of Ram. 2.66ghzcore duo Intel. Snow Leopard installed since last year.

THis Mac has an extended warranty whcih expires next January/

That's about it and I am starting to hate this MAc too. Maybe I should go back to my old PC running windows7...Would you believe it?

It is only 2and 1/2 years so not old for a MAc hey!

Cheers
pegi
